KEEPING BACK THE FLOOD WATERS

There's widespread agreement among Ministers and NGOs that the threat of flooding is likely to grow across Britain in the coming decade. Around five million homes are already categorised 'at risk' and more are predicted to join them in the not-too-distant future. Flooding is a natural process, but clearly there are serious concerns about both the extent and the repetitive nature of the fLood/drought cycle the country appears to be locked into.
