Centrica beefs up in Norway

Centrica has agreed a US 375 deal with Marathon to acquire a package of non-operated gas and oil assets in Norway,giving it its first gas production in the Norwegian sector.Centrica will pick up a raft of interests in the Heimdal area of the Norwegian North Sea,including producing fields,discoveries and exploration prospects.
