Well, I did because I was the Scotsman, and I attended. For many unfortunate ABE members - especially the ones who said they would attend, but did not you know who you are! - missed an excellent evening and presentation provided by Mr Aaron Frost of the host company Roger Bullivant (RB Piling) held at the prestigious Thistle Hotel in Bristol. It's understandable that there will be an element of the host company selling their wares; we all get exposure to this during our working day and, for those that attend, at previous freebee CPD and invoiced presentations also.
