Royal Dutch Shell is holding discussions with Chinese companies over potential collaboration in Iraqi oil projects, the Anglo- Dutch supermajor's chief executive, Jeroen van der Veer, said in Beijing on Tuesday. He did not elaborate in comments to reporters. A Shell spokesperson also declined to provide details, saying the negotiations were of a sensitive "commercial" nature. "All I can say is that discussions with potential partners are still at an early stage," he told International Oil Daily.
