FMC Technologies said it has been awarded a $30 million contract from StatoilHydro for the manufacture and installation of surface wellheads and surface production trees for the Peregrino project. The Peregrino project is a heavy oil field development located in 400 feet of water offshore Brazil in the Campos Basin. The project will be completed in three phases and includes 60 wells. The contract supports phase one of the project and includes 30 production wells and seven injection wells.
