Partners in the Basker-Manta-Gummy (BMG) project in Australia's Bass Strait are eyeing LNG as a monetization option for gas produced from the second phase. Operator Roc Oil said Monday that Japan's Itochu and fellow Australian firm Beach Energy have ex- pressed interest in the “potential supply of BMG gas as part of their evaluation of a pro- posed LNG project.” Roc added that LNG is one of several options being considered.
