Commentary on 'social positions, scripts, and functioning dynamics: Phenomenology of the Egyptian social unconscious'

An order to be truthful, I have to start my discussion by describing my collegial relationship with the author, Dr. Mohamed Taha, and his work (this issue), since I have followed his writing for several years, commented on early versions of this article, and observed how it has changed. In addition, an article of his is expected to be published in one of the next volumes of a series of books about the social unconscious that Dr. Earl Hopper and I co-edit (Hopper and Weinberg, in press).
