I was excited to be asked to review this book as I have listened to Suzanne Catty, read her book on the same subject and attended two workshops with one of Britain's leading exponents of the use of hydrosols and still do not feel that I have enough understanding of them. I have also been using hydrolats for many years, in fact; these useful waters having been a part of my initial training since 1988. I was therefore rather disappointed to find that the authors state that this book is not about giving the evidence for hydrolats. However, I put aside my disappointment and tried to focus on the positive; here was at last collected in one place just about everything we know about hydrolats.
