Ticona(Flo-rence,KY)recently added a speeial-ized grade to its Celstran line.The new material takes aim at applications involving air management and severe stress variations in a vehicle's engine compartment.The new long-fiber-reinforced grade,called PA66-GR50-02 HT,is said to exhibit good aging behavior even at extreme temperatures.Ticona says the new Celstran is suitable for replacing PA46,PPA,or high-temperature PA in underhood components.
