Managem obtains ISO 14001 and explores nano ZnO

MOROCCAN mining mojor, Managem, has achieved ISO 14001 certification at its Guemassa mining and hydrometallurgy facility near Marrakech, which produces zinc, lead and copper concentrates and derivatives for a range of industrial applications. The site is operated by Cie. Miniere de Guemassa (CMG), a subsidiary of Managem which in turn is the mining arm of the ONA Group (Omnium Nord Africain). Managem's other industrial minerals subsidiaries include fluorspar miner Samine.
