SYNTHESIS AND BIOLOGICAL EVALUATION OF SOME MANNICH BASES AND AZETIDIN-2-ONES OF 3-PYRIDYL-4-AMINO-5-MERCAPTO-1,2,4-TRIAZOLE

摘要

Several 1-diethylaminomethyl-3-(4'-pyridyl)-4-(substituted benzylidene amino)-1,2,4-triazole-5-thiones (4a-4h) and 3-(4'-pyridyl)-4-[3"-chloro-4"-substituted-2'-oxoazetidine]-5-mercapto-1,2,4-triazoles (5a-5c) were synthesized from Schiffs bases of 3-pyridyl-4-amino-5-mercapto-1,2,4-triazole.The compounds were screened for antitubercular,antibacterial and antifungal activities invitro.The synthesized compounds have been characterized on the basis of chemical,analytical and spectral data.
