Approximate analytical technique has been extended for obtaining the solutions of certain type of generalized fourth order strongly non-linear oscillatory differential systems with damping based on the He's homotopy perturbation and the extended form of the famous Krylov-Bogoliubov-Mitropolskii (KBM) methods. An example is given to verify the validity of the proposed method. Very good correlations are achieved between the solutions obtained by the present method and those obtained by the fourth order Runge-Kutta method.]
