'Change' is the topic

While visiting Australia in October last year, SAE International (www.sae.org) Chief Executive Officer Dr David Schutt was a guest speaker at the 2009 SAE-A Automotive Engineering Excellence Awards presentation and completed a number of media interviews on the topic "The realignment of the automotive industry". Dr. David Schutt also serves as Vice President-America on the International Federation of Automotive Engineering Societies' (FISITA) Executive Board and is a member of the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry Finance Committee. He was appointed Commissioner, US National Commission for the United National Education and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) by the US Secretary of State. He holds a doctorate in physical chemistry from Princeton University, a bachelor's degree from Calvin College and an MBA from Johns Hopkins University. His global perspective of the automotive industry was presented at a time of great change and challenge and provided a timely reminder of the great strengths of the sector.
