FOR THE E-CLASS' 2014 refresh, Mercedes-Benz has ironed out some of the fussiness of its predecessor, dumping the quad-ish headlights that'd been a hallmark of the model since 1996. Though the coupe and convertible retain the "ponton" rear-fender line meant to evoke the E's 1950s ancestors, the sedan and wagon now feature a clean linear crease. More importantly, it's indicative of Daimler's bet on diesel.
