Australia's food producers are in good stead to meet international buyer trends according to Austrade's food and beverage team leader Lyndel Jack. "Australia is attracting international key retailer and food service customers for its fresh produce and specialty foods such as sauces and condiments that reflect a particular Australian flavour," Jack says. As the Australian Government's lead exports agency, Austrade is at the forefront of recognising customer trends and market drivers. "As well as the deals generated, Austrade-assisted international buying visits to Australia help build the visibility and reputation of established Australian brands in the markets in which these buyers operate," Jack says.
