Landcare Australia, Greyhound Pioneer and ABC Radio came together during National Landcare Month to take city dwellers to the bush to promote an understanding of landcare. Coaches took people from Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne and Canberra torural areas to experience landcare activities first hand. The field trips were the culmination of landcare month activities across Australia which included the launch of the Landcare Australia Awards. The trips were promoted on selected ABC radio programs, with viewers invited to phone in for a place on the bus.
