Rack-it-teer makes savings in winemaking: Winemakers eye savings and quality with new racking system

A NEW RACKING system capable of filling or emptying more than 10 barrels to each bottle of purging nitrogen gas could save winemakers' time and money. Known as the Rack-it-teer, this solid-seal racking system features a unique bung that contracts or expands to apply a tight and secure barrel seal, ensuring oxygen drawn into the barrel is kept to a minimum. A cam-lock and locking fingers also provide a positive seal to ensure there is no gas release.
