With a project in the vicinity of Botswana's only producing coal mine, one can be confident of defining enough reserves to fuel another operating asset.Hodges Resources Ltd owns Morupule South, south of the Morupule colliery, and recently upgraded its resources to 2.3bt, with in excess of 1bt potentially available to open-pit mining."We don't want to be caught napping but we won't drill this whole thing out," managing director Mark Major said."We do want to be able to make sure we can get into this IPP situation where we can secure some power agreements in the future. We do have enough resource to cover those and mine reserves."
