Asahi Kasei Fibers Corporation has developed an innovative material called hyper insulation "TechnoThermo". This material is nonwovens produced by blending the company's W-shaped polyester staple fiber "Technofine type NS", PTT (polytrimethylene terephthalate) fiber "Solotex", and polyester hollow fiber, and by bonding these three fibers with special resin. Three points, namely, warmth retention, feeling and recovery performance characterize this new material.
