In the jackups sector,Egyptian Offshore Drilling has engaged PPL Shipyard of Singapore to construct two Baker Marine Pacific Class 375(BMC 375)jackup drilling rigs for a total contract value of around 425 million,to be delivered end 4Q 2010 and 1Q 2011,respectively.LeTourneau Technologies is to furnish a components kit and licence to Lamprell Energy for the construction of a third Super 116E class 350ft water depth capable jackup drilling rig at Lamprell's Jebel Ali yard in the UAE.Delivery is slated for end 2Q 2010.
