摘要

This paper presents a power factor correction (PFC) control scheme for single-phase input to a three-phase output voltage source converter for a low cost DSP based drives. DSP is usually used to realize the control strategy of the PWM inverter and has some reserve processor capacity, which could be used for power factor correction thus eliminating the need for external PFC control. The principle of applied PI control with feedforward compensation is described. Simulated and experimental oscillograms show effectiveness of the proposed method.
