Russia is exporting record amounts of EU-specification diesel as tariffs fall and more refineries are able to supply the product. Diesel shipments from the Baltic port of Primorsk are due to rise to a record 160,000 b/d this month, 65,000 b/d up on June (see table). Over 125,000 b/d of its July exports are the 10ppm sulphur grade that com- plies with EU standards. The rest is 500ppm sulphur diesel from Surgutneft- egaz’s 350,000 b/d Kirishi refinery. And around 50,000 b/d of 10ppm diesel is exported from the nearby Vysotsk port.
