North Sea crude prices frmed as regional shipments moved to Asia-Pacifc, but US values fell under the weight of growing stocks. Atlantic basin benchmark North Sea Dated rose by just over $1/bl to $61.36/bl in the week to 2 July, while US marker WTI fell by $2.77/bl for August, to $56.93/ bl, and by $2.60/bl on a front-month basis. The front-month WTI discount to North Sea forwards of more than $4.50/bl is the widest since 1 June.
