Reserving investigations in Turkish steel imports case; no damage on local industry

Dr. Samir Alsayyad, Minister of industry and external trade, has accredited the recommendation of the consultative committee in the anti-dumping and support department which states to reserve the investigation in Turkish reinforcing steel imports case since no sufficient evidence has surfaced indicating that these imports has caused damage to local industry. Investigations are over, after proving that causality relation between the dumped imports and the damage inflicted upon local industry did not exist, other causes proved to inflict damage as local industry was competing itself, inflicted damage upon its interests by importing and selling the product in question from Turkey and other countries in the local market.
