Seven Companies, Including an Israeli One, Sanctioned by Washington for Breaching Sanctions Against Tehran

At the end of May the United States Department of State imposed sanctions on seven companies for violations of the Iran Sanctions Act as amended by the Comprehensive Iran Sanctions, Accountability and Divestment Act. The State Department explained that this was the first time that the United States had imposed sanctions for activities related to refined products. Moreover, one of the sanctioned companies is Israel, namely Ofer Brothers Group.
