Baghdad Pressures the Majors to Sign Service Contracts Before the End of June

Iraq is keen to sign service contracts with major oil companies,but is not prepared to wait too long.This is the message that the Iraqi Oil Minister,Mr..Hussein al-Shahristani,sought to put across recently to the companies concerned.If thesa companies were not in a position to sign such contracts by the end of June,added Mr.al-Shahristani,the country might no longer need them.
