LPG Prices Cut by 45-60/Ton for August

Saudi Aramco and Kuwait Petroleum Corporation(KPC)have reduced their liquefied petroleum gas(LPG)export prices by 45-60/ton for August liftings.This is the first reduction since April and brings the prices of propane and butane down to 860/ton and 890/ton respectively,compared with the all-time highs of 905/ton and 950/ton they were at in July.In August 2007 propane and butane were priced at 580/ton and 605/ton respectively,so they have gone up by 280/ton and 285/ton in the space of a year.Saudi Aramco fixes its LPG selling prices each month on the basis of the results of two spot tenders organized the month before.
