EGPC and Ganope Award Exploration Licenses to Burren Energy and Eni/Cepsa

Following the exploration bid rounds launched in the first half of 2004 (2004 Bid Rounds-1),the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) and Ganoub al-Wadi Petroleum Holding Company (Ganope) have just assigned three exploration licenses,two to the British firm Burren Energy Pic and one to IEOC,the local subsidiary of Eni of Italy,in association with the Spanish company Cepsa.
