The roadside unit (1) has a reader (3) on the front into which the owner inserts the license tag. He then uses the scoop (9) to drop the feces into the chute behind the access flap (6). The unit is connected to the water supply and drainage systems. Each time the owner uses the facility, an amount is automatically discounted from the following year's dog license fee.
