Tender for Four Offshore Exploration Blocks to Be Launched Before the End of March

After prequalifying companies for the right to bid for six onshore tracts and a number of offshore exploration tracts that was not specified by the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources (AOG,16 Jan.,2007),the Minister,Mr.Soufian Allao,indicated at the end of January that bids for the onshore blocks would be called in mid-February and that a tender for four offshore blocks would be launched before the end of March.
