Nabucco gasline project revived with the signing of support agreements with five transit countries

The Nabucco Gas Pipeline International GmbH consortium, which is based in Vienna (Austria), signed project support agreements on 8 June with five countries through which the gasline would pass, namely Austria, Bulgaria, Hungary, Romania and Turkey. These agreements open the way to the finalization of the legal framework for the project and mark the commitment of the countries concerned. For Nabucco Gas Pipeline International, it is an important advance that will greatly facilitate the arrangement of funding for the project.
