Parliament Ratifies Four Production-Sharing Agreements

The Jordanian Parliament has ratified four exploration and production-sharing agreements,including the one signed with Sonoran Energy in the autumn of 2005.The latter granted Sonoran exploration and development rights to the 11,250-sq km Azraq acreage as well as assigning it operating responsibility for the existing production wells at the Hamza oilfield located on the same tract.
