DNO International Is About to Negotiate a Production-Sharing Agreement for Block 48

Responding to reports in certain media about the award of Block 48, DNO International ASA pointed out in a brief public statement issued in early October that it had signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for this exploration tract. The MOU grants the Norwegian company exclusive rights to negotiate a production-sharing agreement for Block 48 with the Yemeni authorities. The company added that negotiations would start shortly with a view to "finalizing" the contract.
