New Exploration Bid Round Launched for Six Onshore and Four Offshore Blocks

The Yemeni authorities have unveiled the 10 blocks to be offered to the industry in the fifth international exploration bid round. Six of the 10 are onshore and four offshore. The offshore blocks are Qatar (Block 16), Kamaran (22), Hudaydah (23) and Abd al-Kuri (94), while the onshore tracts are North al-Armah (Block 42), North Thamud (59), North al-Khadrah (79), Wadi Sarr (80), Wadi al-Banin (84) and Wadi Duibir (88).
