The report discusses the many consultation documents the states will receive in the course of the OCS Exploration decision-making process. It also outlines planning needs, strategies for promoting state policies, and institutional and organizational options for effective participation in decision making. This document aims to provide state and local officials with information related to outer continental shelf (OCS) oil and gas development in frontier regions.
