Kuraray Targets xEVs for Material Marketing Efforts

Kuraray Co. Ltd. (TYO:3405) is ramping up its marketing efforts for materials aimed at nextgen electromotive vehicles. Known also as xEVs, these vehicles are seeing a premium placed on electromagnetic-wave countermeasures and on reducing the size and weight of individual devices. Kuraray is then answering the call here as it looks to bring out a conductive nonwoven fabric that uses Vecrus - a meltblown nonwoven made from polyarylate liquid crystal - as an electromagnetic-wave countermeasure.
