A gradual decrease in FeCr imports to China, the world largest consumer, boosted competition in the europeanmarket and resulted in redirection of trade flows from asia to the West. in the forecast period, production ofstainless steel and thus FeCr requirement in the eu and the uSa will grow moderately. China will continue cut-ting the share of import FeCr in consumption. in the near future, Southeast asia will be the key region in termsof stainless steel production growth.
