Coke prices keep falling in Russia

In mid-July, the Russian market saw yet another decline in coke prices, low consumer activity in the segment for merchant pig iron being the main reason behind that. Russia.s exports of merchant pig iron and finished products have stayed limited in July. In this view, producers have cut production of merchant pig iron, stopped blast furnaces for repairs and curtailed coke purchases.
