Prices about to stabilize

Prices for CIS-origin pig iron kept falling in the first half of January amid tight competition with suppliers from other countries and slow consumer activity. The price trend reversed its course in the middle of the month; the quotes returned to early December levels, with the average monthly price losing some 1%.
