The Study of Replacing Financial Passbook with Mobile Device

In order to be a reliable ICT company, Chunghwa Telecom develops the application services technology of information security. Recently, with the popularity of mobile services, the development of mobile and web applications on the mobile platform is flourishing. In the past times, when people need to confirm whether the financial service is indeed processed, they have to check the personal financial passbook such as the bank passbook and the security passbook. However, with the remarkable advances in technology, the process sequence of financial passbooks can be improved. This study analyzes the service role and user requirements of the current financial passbook and provides a solution which applies the new technologies of NFC, PKI, and TSM to improve the service processes of financial passbook gradually and to provide a complete, reliable and secure environment for the financial industry and users.
