ARA ready for Tanzania gas project push

ARA Petroleum will start seismic on its gas rich acreage in Tanzania next quarter with an exploration well in early 2022 to be followed by a development plan for an existing discovery. The Omani frm recently took over operatorship of the Ru- vuma block and the 763 Bcf Ntorya discovery from Aminex. A new 480sq km 3D seismic campaign will start next quarter to help pinpoint well locations for a development plan for the discovery along with fnal planning for the Chikumbi explo-ration well.
