China’s crude oil imports from Iran dive in March

Singapore—China’s imports of Iranian crude fell to 409,727 b/d in March from 523,472 b/d in February, a 21.7% month-on-month drop, Chinese customs data released late April 23 showed. But the March volumes were 61.1% higher than those of March 2012, when imports from Iran fell because of a pricing dispute between Chinese state trader Unipec and the National Iranian Oil Company.
