Total's Pazflor Blooms Offshore Angola

French oil major Total, operator of Angola's deepwater Block 17, said Friday that the giant Pazflor field has come on stream ahead of schedule and will gradually ramp up to its full production capacity of 220,000 barrels per day over the coming months. Total operates Block 17 with a 40% interest, while Sonangol is the concession holder. Other partners are Statoil with 23.3%, Exxon Mobil with 20% and BP with 16.67%.
