Denka to end PS production in Singapore, convert plant to MS resin

Denka has announced plans to terminate the production of polystyrene (PS) at its subsidiary in Singapore and boost production capacity of methyl methacrylate styrene (MS resin) by converting the PS facility. MS resin is a copolymer comprising styrene and methyl methacrylate. The company will terminate the sale of PS from Singapore by the end of 2020 and start production of MS resin at the plant in the frst half of 2021.
