Givaudan to acquire US flavors and fragrances firm Ungerer

Givaudan said on Friday that it has reached an agreement to acquire Ungerer & Co. (Lincoln Park, New Jersey), a leading independent company in the favor and fragrance specialty ingredients business, most notably essential oils. These provide a palette of predominantly natural ingredients for favor and fragrance creation, as well as for end customers of such specialties. Ungerer also has a major local and regional customer presence for both favors and fragrances in North America.
