摘要

Two experiments were carried out in order to explore the effects of nursing knowledge (expert vs. novice) and information types (audio-visual vs. visual vs. auditory presentation) on the memory of the action and/or explanation of a nursing scene when actions and narration were presented on video. The studies examined whether participants' knowledge levels affect the scores of recall and recognition test, which probes the impact of three types of information (AV, V, and A presentation). When visual information was not predictable and participants had a higher level of nursing knowledge, it was found that knowledge levels play a role in activating the meanings of the action of a nursing scene. When the performance of experts and novices was compared, it was found that experts were better at grasping the important aspects of nursing actions without the guidance of verbal explanations.
