摘要

The influence of partial or complete removal of generative organs on carbon dioxide gas exchange, content of some biochemical substances and productivity of string bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) in vegetative experiment were investigated. It was shown that the removal of buds and flowers resulted in transient decrease of net photosynthetic rate and increase of mesophyll resistance to CO_2 diffusion. The increase of vegetative organs mass and change of phytohormonal status of plants with removed pods were observed. The obtained results are discussed from the viewpoint of regulation of photosynthetic activity in source-sink plant system.
