摘要

It is necessary to apply a turbocharger with higher pressure and more volume flow rate to improve the output of diesel engines. Such a turbocharger will be expected to use for the diesel engines in the near future. One of the important technologies to design the turbocharger is the accurate evaluation of the strength for turbine blades at the resonance operating condition, because the failure of the blades occurs a serious accident in the market. To evaluate the blade strength at resonance operation, we have estimate an order of stimulus values through blade vibration testes as presented in the former report (4). In this paper, we describe the result of blade vibration measurements that were performed to clarify the influence of turbine scroll casing on the blade vibration. The acquired results will be contributed to an accurate evaluation of the resonance stress for newly designed turbine blades.
