The turbine (10) has a guide blade (16) held by a turbine housing (12). A contour sleeve (20) influences flow parameters within a turbine wheel inlet area (18), where the contour sleeve and the guide blade are formed as a single piece. A component assembly inserts the guide blade, the contour sleeve and an axial slider (24) for influencing a flow cross section of the guide blade into the turbine housing. The contour sleeve exhibits a front side area (32) perpendicular to a turbine longitudinal axis (30), and is connected with the guide blade over the longitudinal axis. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a turbine for an exhaust gas turbocharger.
