摘要

The life expectancy of the Japanese averaged 83.7 years (men, 80.5 years; women, 86.8 years) in 201b (WHO, 2016) is the highest in the world. In 1990,12% of the Japanese population was over 65 years of age, while this proportion had reached 23% by the year 2010. It is estimated that, by the year 2025, more than 30% of the population will be over 65 years. The aging of the world population has dramatically increased in recent years, and Asian countries are no exceptions. Although Japan is the country with the longest life expectancy, Korea is in particular aging at a pace higher than Japan currently.
